For more than 20 years I has been collecting data on Avro 504’s. During this period, I have visited numerous museums the world over, collecting hundreds of drawings and pictures. In 1996 I established a dedicated web site www.avro504.org to share my information and details with others. My goal has always been to build several flying, exact reproduction, 504’s. Over the next few years I created a nearly complete set of drawings in AutoCAD for the aircraft.
I began building my own aircraft in my BSA, LLC work shop. I have personally developed all the necessary tooling, machining and casting capabilities, and all other necessary resources to build and finished my own Avro 504s from scratch. Over the past several years, I have assisted several others in their construction of similar machines as well as received some much needed technical assists from others, who are my friends.
