Wright Glider Projects: 1901 and 1911
In October 2011 Blue Swallow Aircraft helped Rick Young build the control system for his new 1911 Wright Glider for the Centennial event held at Wrighht Brothers’ National Memorial Kitty Hawk, NC.
Back in 2000, Blue Swallow Aircraft built for the Wright Experience, their 1901 glider. This glider was later shown at Oshkosh and wind tunnel tested at NASA Langley’s full size wind tunnel.
This glider was later flown at Kitty Hawk, NC and was on display for the World to see at the College Park Aviation Musuem in College Park, MD.
